JURGOVO

ABOUT THE AREA

This is one of the first bouldering areas in Slovenia and its rock is of amazing quality. Jurgovo lies at the bottom of the ski slope on Rogla, 10 km from Oplotnica bouldering area. Its wavy rock structure makes Jurgovo one of the most interesting climbing areas on Pohorje. In 2007, this area was discovered by Rok Šisernik, who started its development, which was then continued in the lower part of the sector by climbers from Štajerska: Jernej Kruder, Izidor Zupan, Matjaž Zorko and others.
