ABOUT THE AREA
In the centre of Slovenska Bistrica, turn left at the traffic lights in the direction of Maribor. Continue on the priority road for 4 km and park the car right before the road turns left across the bridge. The parking space is intended for hikers. Go along the footpath to access the boulders.
Ownership
Most of the land is private property, which is why you should be extra careful and respectful of nature.
Rock type
Pohorje’s granite / tonalite and gneiss. Fine, finger-friendly rock. Mostly small edges (crimps) and round holds (slopers).
Best time
All year round. Best in autumn and spring. In Spa sector also in summer.
