ABOUT THE AREA
Mislinja is a small bouldering/sport area in the Koroška region with 42 boulder and 16 sport lines. It’s appropriate for both beginners and experienced climbers. The first boulders in Mislinja were found by a local, Gorazd Robnik – Goga, who used the area for recreation with his friends. In 2014, Rok Klančnik gathered his friends and cleaned most of the boulders, then climbed and named them. Route bolting started in 2016, Jernerj Kruder was the first one bolting the overhanging routes (all routes in the overhang were bolted by him). Next year Tomaž Žužel and Rok Klančnik started bolting and cleaning the slab sector.
Ownership
The land and parking spaces are mostly public. There is only one boulder on private land – Armada (bloc 15). Be extra careful and take good care of nature!
Rock type
Pohorje’s granite / tonalite. Sharp rock, not finger-friendly. Mostly small edges (crimps).
Best time
Whole year except winter. Large amount of snow possible. Best in autumn and spring.
